Dog and Cat First Aid
Crafty Charlie was apart of the team here at Scotch Lodge Farm, he was a well-loved dog, both by his family and customers, touching the hearts of everyone that visited our shop and attended our workshops. Sadly we had to say goodbye to Charlie last year due to illness. We have dedicated this event to him.

Brought to you by 1stAiders, a four hour hands-on class on how to respond to your pets needs in an accident or emergency.
Anyone is welcome, no prior learning, experience or qualifications are required. The vast majority of first aid treatment is universal and matters not whether treating a cat, dog, rabbit or any other furry friend.

As well as those who need a certificate and experience in cat and dog first aid.
You will learn how to render first aid to a cat and dog:
Choking
Not breathing
Give artificial respiration
No Heartbeat
CPR
Poisoning
Seizures
Fractures
Spinal injury and moving an injured pet
Burns (Heat and Chemical)
Controlling Bleeding
Dressings and Bandages
Paw Problems and Injuries
Bites, and Stings
Eye Injury
The course is for four hours with a half hour break, which at the end you will be awarded with a certificate. You will be registered in Qualified & Certified First Aider Register and allowed to display the logo on your website, email and other marketing material – be proud, it shows your dedication and care!
