You may be wondering "where has she been?"

Well it's been a bit of a roller coaster to say the least. Back in March, and some way through a post for you, I had an accident.

I smashed my femur in 10, smashed my hip out its socket, broke my arm, smashed my teeth and broke my glasses!

One or two are still doing well and I am so pleased my strelitzia decided to delay its flowering although the cool nights may well delay it further still. The greenhouse will have electric supplied this year so all plants should be protected over the...

We were all away from our families and would recorded the happenings during our school time and our private thoughts. Mine of course was always pretty much empty, apart from how many days there were to the end of term!

My name is Isobel Clarke (nee Beaty)...
